Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that we are committed to the all-round development of the state. The schemes which were discontinued by the previous government have been launched again. Union Agriculture and Panchayat Minister Shri Narendra Singh Tomar said that it has never happened in the history of Ambah assembly constituency that bhoomi-pujan and dedication of development works worth Rs 100 crore has taken place simultaneously. He said that the government will not lag behind in development works under the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan. Rajya Sabha MP Shri Jyotiraditya Scindia said that the 450 km long Chambal Atal Progress-Way, costing Rs.8 thousand crore, passing through Chambal region is a plan for the happy future of the entire region. This Progress-way will pave way for establishing new dimensions of prosperity in the region. Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Union Minister Shri Narendra Singh Tomar and Rajya Sabha MP Shri Jyotiraditya Scindia addressed the dedication and foundation laying ceremony of the development works in Porsa of Ambah assembly constituency on Thursday.

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that recruitments will be made in a large number in various departments in the state in the near future. The government has decided that from now on, only the youth of Madhya Pradesh will be given jobs. He said that various public welfare schemes which had been put on hold by the previous government have been re-launched by the present government. These schemes include Sambal Yojana, Teerth Darshan Yojana, Ladli Laxmi Yojana and other schemes. The Chief Minister said that the government will pay whatever electricity bills have come in the Corona period. Consumers will have to pay the bill from the current month. He said that eligibility slips will be given to the poor families in the state. Through this wheat at the rate of Re. One per k.g. will be given, so that no poor in the state remains hungry. He instructed the district administration to ensure that no eligible person is deprived of ration in the district. On street vendors, he said that the government is giving a loan of Rs 10 thousand without interest to them in urban areas. Similar kind of assistance has also been started for street vendors in rural areas. He informed that an amount of Rs. 4 thousand 600 crore of crop insurance will be deposited in the accounts of farmers for their welfare by the government soon.

Union Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Shri Narendra Singh Tomar said that Ambah assembly constituency was lagging behind since long. Thanking the Chief Minister he said that this is for the first time in the history of Ambah assembly constituency that a Chief Minister has performed bhoomi pujan and dedicated works worth Rs 100 crore. He said that now a network of roads will be laid in the area. Adequate power, toilets in every house are being constructed in every area. Shri Tomar said that with the blessings of everyone, Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan has become the Chief Minister for the fourth time. He deserves the credit for gifting development works worth Rs 100 crore to Ambah today. He said that any shortcoming in the area will also be fulfilled.

While talking about the schemes of the central government, Union Minister Shri Tomar said that the Prime Minister of the country remains concerned for the farmers at all times, his aim is to make agriculture a profitable business and all efforts are being made to double the income of farmers. The Union Minister said that the Street Vendors Scheme has been launched for the poor for conducting small businesses. Its positive results are being reflected. He said that the central government is providing loan of Rs 10 thousand each to the small traders without interest. He said that the Prime Minister will gift Pradhan Mantri Awas to 2 lakh homeless families of the country on September 12, 2020.

Former Union Minister and Rajya Sabha MP Shri Jyotiraditya Scindia said that Madhya Pradesh government is a progressive government. He said that he has supported the present government in order to ensure justice and respect to the people. He said that Chambal Atal Progress-Way will pave the way for prosperity in the entire Chambal region.

In his welcome address at the outset, MLA Shri Kamlesh Jatav said that the gift received by the people of Ambah area today will lead to the total development of the area.

During the programme, Chief Minister Shri Chouhan gave an amount of Rs. 10 thousand each to the 5 street vendor beneficiaries, Rs. one lakh each to 5 self-help groups and Rs. 51 thousand under the girls marriage scheme of daughters of 5 labourers under Karmakar Mandal Yojana, Rs 10 thousand each to 4 girls under Ladli Laxmi Yojana and 5 people under Pradhan Mantri Swanidhi Yojana.

CM’s announcements

On the occasion, the Chief Minister announced to upgrade the school of Ruar Barbai and name the school after martyr Pandit Ramprasad Bismil. He announced to build a grand museum in Barbai after the name of martyr Pandit Ramprasad Bismil, to start post-graduate course in the undergraduate college in Ambah from next education session and to get the panchayats around Ambah-Porsa municipality demarcated. He also announced to get stop dam constructed in Khurd Raipur, upgrade the secondary school of Rajaudha into higher secondary school. While announcing the construction of Pantoon (Pipa) bridge over the Chambal river in Nagra, the Chief Minister said that construction work of Usedghat bridge has been started after retendering process. The Chief Minister announced to build a 50-bed hospital in Porsa and up-gradation of Ambah’s hospital.
