Every possible help should be provided to flood victims

Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that the heavy rainfall created a catastrophic flood situation in the state but the promptness with which our machinery provided relief to the victims is commendable. Our entire team deserves compliments for the sensitivity and dedication with which they worked during the Corona crisis, flood disaster and the festivals. With the coordinated efforts of all, we succeeded in preventing loss of lives. We have to give all possible help to the flood victims, so that their life could return to normal. Special attention should be paid to the prevention and treatment of seasonal diseases as soon as flood water recedes. Provide compensation in time by completing the survey of damage.

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan was addressing the Collectors-Commissioners Conference through video conferencing at Mantralaya. Chief Secretary Shri Iqbal Singh Bains, Director General of Police Shri Vivek Johari and other officers were present at the video conference. All the Commissioners, Inspectors General of Police, Collectors and Superintendents of Police attended the video conferencing.

Launch campaign for protection from seasonal diseases

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that a wide scale campaign should be launched for protection from seasonal diseases after the flood water recedes. Ensure availability of pure drinking water, bleaching powder and other medicines, cleanliness and fodder arrangement for cattle. Yellow mosaic disease has been reported in soybean crop from many places in the state. Every possible measure should be taken to prevent this. Immediate assistance should be provided under RBC 6/4, as well as MGNREGA, to those people, whose houses have been completely damaged by the floods. Every possible effort should be made to render cooperation under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana.

Black marketing will not be tolerated

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that black marketing of urea will not be tolerated under any circumstances. Action should be taken to submit the challan after completing the investigation within 30 days under the FIR registered against those, who are involved in irregularities in the distribution of fertilizers. In case of unusual situation, the information of the farmers should be entered in the register and fertilizer should be given to them immediately.

Crop Cutting experiment to be conducted on time

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that crop cutting experiment should be ensured on time to enable the farmers in getting suitable help in period of crisis. The Chief Minister directed that the farmers, whose applications are submitted in the PACS should be insured by opening the portal.

Registration for paddy procurement on support price September 15

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that the target for paddy procurement this year is 40 lakh metric tonnes. The registration process will start from September 15. Arrangement of bags for procurement should be ensured and the number of procurement centers should be increased so that the entire process could be completed timely and in easy manner.

Take stringent action against criminals

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that strict action should be taken against drug dealers, chit fund companies, black marketeers of fertilizers and rations, adulterators, mafias producing and selling illicit liquor, land mafia, cooperative mafia, government land-grabbers, people involved in illegal mining as well as cyber crime and habitual criminals. He directed to adopt zero tolerance policy against those, who commit crimes against women and girls. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that a list of people involved in these activities should be prepared and action be taken against them. In the meeting, instructions were given to make special arrangements concerning women's security, especially to curb activities like blackmailing.

Out of order transformers should be replaced immediately

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that burnt and out of order transformers should be replaced at war footing. Make sure there are no unnecessary power cuts. Don't serve unreasonable electricity bills to the power consumers.

Food grain distribution from September 7

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that food grain distribution campaign will start from September 7 at district level. The process of distribution of food grains will be started by organizing programmes at each ration shop also. Precautions to ensure prevention of corona infection must be ensured during the programmes.

Street Vendor upliftment scheme

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that Collectors as Coordinator should ensure speedy completion of cases of eligible beneficiaries of Street Vendors Upliftment Scheme. It should be ensured that the police personnel or the staff of the civic bodies does not harass the street vendors in conducting business on streets and on hand carts.

Give forest right pattas

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that the claims of forest rights pattas of tribals, which were rejected earlier, should be re-examined and if their cases are found genuine, forest rights pattas should be given. In the meeting, instructions were given to Singrauli, Shahdol and Betul to speed up the work.

Credit card to milk producers and fish farmers

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan directed to ensure that credit cards of milk producers and fish farmers are made in time. He said that the extra income earned from these activities helps in improving the standard of living. The Chief Minister also instructed all the collectors to speed up the 'National Animal Disease Control Programme' in the districts.

Empowerment of self-help groups

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that the task of distribution of uniforms should be ensured only through women's self-help groups. Empowering self-help groups is our priority. This year the target is more than Rs. 1300 crore for livelihood promotion works. To complete this, execute the plan by making an action plan at the district level. Shri Chouhan also directed to seek the cooperation of self-help groups in making the “One District One Identity” programme a success.

Undisputed mutation and partition

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that after resolving the issue of undisputed mutation and partition, the action remains incomplete till it is recorded in the revenue records. Therefore, by conducting a campaign, final disposal of hundred percent pending cases should be ensured. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan congratulated Vidisha district for better performance in aspiring districts.

Transport facility for JEE and NEET candidates

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan also reviewed the arrangement of providing free to and fro transport facility to examination centers and back for the candidates of JEE and NEET, arranged by the government. He said that arrangements should be made to take and bring back the students, whose examination centers are in the cities of bordering states of Madhya Pradesh like Nagpur, Jhansi, Kota, Bilaspur etc. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan also directed to set up a control room for the convenience of the students.
