6.58 lakh metric tonnes of gram purchased from farmers

Nearly 6.58 lakh metric tonnes of gram has already been procured from farmers in the state. Payment of Rs 3700 crores has been made to the farmers for this. So far, one lakh 30 thousand metric tonnes of Tivda gram has been purchased. With the efforts of Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan, the work of procuring Tivda gram from farmers was completed in the last two weeks and its payment was made to the farmers. An estimated Rs 30 thousand crore including wheat and gram was paid to the farmers.
