CM GRIEVED ON ROAD ACCIDENTS

Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan has expressed grief on the road accident in Chhatarpur district. He has directed the administration to provide every possible assistance to the affected people. He has also expressed grief on the death of labourers in road accidents in Guna district and in Oriaiya in Uttar Pradesh. He has prayed for peace to the departed soul and quick recovery for the injured.

STATE GOVERNMENT COMMITTED TO SAFE RETURN OF LABOURERS

The Chief Minister reiterated state government's commitment to ensuring safe return of migrant labourers to their respective homes. He has appealed to the labourers not to walk. Arrangements of food and transportation have been made in districts of Madhya Pradesh for them. He said that continuous efforts are being made to bring back labourers by trains. So far,over 3.5 lakh workers have been brought back including 1.72 lakh labourers from Gujrat, 52 thousand from Rajsthan, 78 thousand from Maharashtra and others from South Indian states. Efforts are continuing to bring labourers stranded Mumbai-Pune, Surat, Ahamadabad and other metropolis.
