CM Shri Chouhan interacts with labourers returning from other states

“Labourers can now stay at home comfortably, follow rules completely”

Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan today interacted with the labourers returning to their homes in Madhya Pradesh from other states through video conferencing. The laboureres thanked the Chief Minister and said that “We were stranded for almost a month.” You had made good arrangements for food and lodging for us there. Hence we did not face any problem. We had received the amount of Rs one thousand sent by you, yet we were missing our home and family. We were getting restless to return home. The labourers said that Mamaji, you have done us a great favour by calling us back home. Our entire village is thanking you.”

Take special care for 14 days

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan asked the workers to take special care for 14 days. He told them to stay separate at home also, keeping distance from all the members. Even after that, there is need to take full care. He told them to wear masks while talking to others and keep at least 2 yards distance. Wash hands frequently. Follow lockdown completely.

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan interacted with Shri Mukesh Adivasi and Shri Bharat Adivasi, labourers who returned from Rajasthan to Shivpuri, Shri Pyarelal Adivasi and Shri Suraj of Sheopur, Shri Sagir and Shri Faizan of Vidisha and Smt. Pavitra Bai and Shri Rakesh of Guna. Shri Chouhan also interacted with Shri Raju Damadia and Sushri Thunia of Alirajpur and Shri Bharat Vasu and Shri Mahesh Paul of Jhabua who returned from Gujarat.

Happy to be back home

Raju told the Chief Minister that he was stranded in Navsari in Gujarat for a month. Although they were provided with good food-lodging arrangements they were impatient to return home. We are very happy to be back home. Pyarelal Adivasi told the Chief Minister that he had gone to Sawai Madhopur for harvesting gram and got stuck there. Shri Sagir was engaged in vegetable work in Sawai Madhopur. Bharat Vasu told that he had walked all the way from where he was stranded to Patan but when he came to know that Mamaji was sending a bus to pick him up, his joy knew no bounds. Pavitra Bai was stranded in Sawai Madhopur of Rajasthan. All are very happy to be back home and are thanking Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan.

Chief Secretary Shri Iqbal Singh Bains, Director General of Police Shri Vivek Johri, Additional Chief Secretary Shri I.C. P. Kesari and Secretary Public Relations Shri P. Narhari were present in the meeting.
