Government of India’s guidelines should be strictly followed during lockdown

Work with complete social distancing, security and care
CM Shri Chouhan issues instructions in meeting related to guidelines

Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that as per the guidelines issued by the Government of India, some selected essential activities have been allowed to be carried out in other than infected areas from April 20 under the lockdown that continues till May 3. These activities should be carried out in the state while maintaining complete social distance, caution and complete security, following the current rules of lockdown.

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan today held a meeting regarding the lockdown guidelines issued by the Government of India in Mantralaya. Chief Secretary Shri Iqbal Singh Bains, DGP Shri Vivek Johri, Director Public Relations Shri O.P. Srivastava etc. were present in the meeting.

These activities will be completely banned in lockdown

Passenger Services - Airport, Rail, Road, academic and related institutions, industrial, business, Hotel business (other than those permitted) Cinema Halls, Malls, Shopping Complex etc. Any type of group activity, religious place, religious gatherings, more than 20 persons in funeral procession, taxi, auto, rickshaw services.

These instructions must be followed

Wearing mask mandatory, observing social distancing, not more than 5 persons gathering in one place, spitting in public places, strict prohibition on alcohol, gutka, tobacco, temperature screening at workplace, sanitization, aged, weak, patients and children to work from home, use of Arogya Setu app will be encouraged.

These activities can be undertaken

Agriculture and allied activities, rural economy related activities, daily income activities of labourers, selected industrial activities of essential services (while following complete safety and protocol), digital economy, e-commerce etc. Health related services, pharmaceutical manufacturing units, medical equipment units.

Agricultural work

Procurement of agricultural products, mandis of agricultural products, decentralized markets at the village level, agricultural and repair shops, custom hiring centers, fertilizers, pesticides, seed production-distribution, etc., harvesting and other agricultural machines moving in and out of states, fish farming, fisheries industry, fisheries production, supply of milk and dairy products, poultry centres, animal husbandry centres, animal feed manufacturing, animal homes, Gaushalas.

Rural economy activities

Food processing industries in rural areas, brick kilns in rural areas, road construction, irrigation schemes, house construction, industrial projects, MNREGA works, water conservation works, tea, coffee and rubber farming (with 50 percent labourers) general service centre.

Essential activities

Bank activities, Old Age Homes, Children’s Homes, Disabled Ashrams, Mahila Ashrams, Children’s Remand Homes, Disbursement of Social Pension Scheme funds, Petrol Pumps, Gas Agencies Operations, Petrol, Gas transportation, electricity generation, postal distribution services, post office, water supply system, sanitation, waste management, telecommunication and internet services. Operation of all empty and full freight carriers, truck repair shops, highway dhabas, supply service of essential commodities, grocery shops and fair price shops (no time limit), Print and Electronic Media, IT Services (50 per cent), government call centres, courier services, cold storage, warehouses, private security service, electrician, motor mechanics, plumber, IT Repairs, Carpenters.

Industrial sector activities

SEZ, export oriented industries, essential commodities, pharmaceutical industries, non-stop working industries, IT Hardware, Coal Products, Mineral Products, Packaging Materials, Jute Industry, Oil, Gas Industry.

Movement of people

Use of private vehicles for emergency services such as health, animal health etc. (one person with driver on four wheeler, one person on two-wheeler) to and fro to workplace (works with permission).

These offices will be open / officers will come

District Administration, Treasury, Forest Department, Defense, Health, Family Welfare, Disaster Control, Meteorological Department, Land Gestation Department, Information Office, Food Office, NCC, Nehru Yuva Kendra, Police, Home Guards, Fire Fighting, Disaster Control, Jail, urban bodies, all first and second class officers, 33 percent employees from Class III and IV (as per requirement).
