Strict action will be taken against black marketing of sanitizer, mask and ration

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan conducts intensive review of Corona arrangements

If you see even a slight symptom, get yourself tested immediately

The Chief Minister instructed that Corona test should be undertaken immediately, even if the slightest sign of Corona appears in any person, no one should be left out. If any Corona infected person leaves without a test, then many people are prone to infection. He said that there should be no laxity in this work.

Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan, during an intensive review of the situation and arrangements of Corona crisis in Mantralaya today, directed that there should be no black marketing of masks, sanitizers and food items etc. anywhere in the state. All this should be sold at a fixed price. Shri Chouhan said that if a person does black marketing and sells them for more than the prescribed price, strict action will be taken against him.

Chief Secretary Shri Iqbal Singh Bains stated during the review that presently the stock of Corona Testing Kits is 4050, which is sufficient. They will continue to come. Our current test capacity is 480, which will be 1000 by 10th April. The number of PPE kits we have is 6000. The kits made in Madhya Pradesh have been approved by DRDO. On this, the Chief Minister congratulated and said that if there are more kits than required, we can also give them to other states. Wearing a PPE kit gives confidence to the staff working during Corona crisis. There are 2.5 lakh hydroxy chloroquine tablets and more are coming. The number of N95 masks is 43750, which is sufficient. Free masks are being sent to all districts as per requirement.

Masks and sanitizers must be sold at fixed prices

The Chief Minister directed that masks and sanitizers should be sold at the price fixed by the Government of India. Collectors in all districts should ensure that masks and sanitizers are not sold at high prices. For this, the Chief Minister directed to publicize their prices.

Complaints received on social media resolved promptly

The Chief Minister said that strict action should be taken on the complaints of black marketing of ration coming from certain places. On the information about distribution of ration to 97.5 lakh families in the state, the Chief Minister directed to get crosschecked. He said that the complaints received on social media should also be resolved expeditiously.

Follow Prime Minister’s instructions

The Chief Minister instructed to seek the cooperation of Jan Abhiyan Parishad, NCC, NSS etc. in the work of providing assistance to the common people in this time of crisis. He said that compliance to the instructions of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi in today’s video conference should be fully ensured in the state. Crisis management teams should be set up in every district, in which the collector must ensure the presence of administrative officers as well as doctors, industrialists, social workers, etc. should be ensured.

AYUSH Department must distribute free medicines

The Chief Minister directed the AYUSH department to make Ayurvedic, Homeopathy and Unani medicines distributed to the common man free of cost. These drugs are very helpful in increasing immunity. AYUSh doctors should also be given necessary training and their services should be availed in every district.

Instructions given to investigate old age – disabled homes

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan instructed to conduct an inquiry relating to Corona in old age homes and disabled ashrams. He said that drones should also be used to monitor infection. A mobile app should be prepared for farmers, which will tell them where they will get agricultural assistance and how to get information about agricultural machinery, harvesters etc. Collectors should also take full support of the religious leaders, social organizations etc. in this crisis in their respective districts. Social distancing should be taken care of.

Secretary Ayush Shri M.K. Agarwal informed that so far 22 lakh packets of these medicines have been distributed free in the state.
