Our courage is bigger than Corona crisis: CM Shri Chouhan

Online relief sent by State Governmnet to every section

The Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that the Corona crisis is big, but our courage is even bigger. He said that all arrangements for check ups, treatment and isolation have been ensured to control the corona in the state. The State Government has left no stone unturned in providing essential facilities and services to the citizens. Hospitals have been identified for the treatment of Corona in the state upto the grass root level. Shri Chouhan has appealed to the common people for their maximum cooperation in the ongoing battle against the Corona and expressed confidence that with the cooperation of all, we will come out victorious under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi in the ongoing war against Corona.

Whole wheat to be procured from farmers, No need to worry

The Chief Minister Shri Chouhan has told the farmers that procurement activity has been postponed for the time being and arrangements are being made in accordance with the new schedule. Information in this regard will be given separately shortly. He said that necessary arrangements have also been made to ensure that there is no disruption to the harvesting activity. Harvesters' transportation will not be stopped anywhere. Shri Chouhan assured the farmers that they should remain at ease and need not worry; their whole wheat will be procured. The state government will also make arrangement to buy their other produce.

Understand importance of isolation, spent time with family

Shri Chouhan said that isolation is very important to prevent the disease from spreading. All must understand the importance of it. The state government has directed the local administration to ensure the supply of milk, flour and all other essential commodities to the citizens. Spend time with family during the lockdown. He further mentioned that the common people should also live this time. Watch interesting TV shows at home with children and do Yoga. With these measures of protection, we will surely defeat Corona.

Relief provided to every section of society

Shri Chouhan has informed that in this time of crisis, relief has been given to all the sections of society. He said that one month ration is being provided free of cost to the poor families of the state. Two months' advance relief amount is being sent to the families of Sahriya, Baiga and Bharia tribe. An amount of Rs. One thousand is being provided to the workers. Instructions have been given to the landlords not to take rents from the tenants. Instructions have also been given to give salaries and remuneration to the factory labourers.

Full arrangements for check ups, treatment and isolation

The Chief Minister Shri Chouhan has told the citizens to follow the lockdown completely. Do not leave homes at all for the benefit of your family. He said that to prevent corona infection, the check up is done first if a suspect is found. Individuals who come in contact with the infected person are advised to stay in quarantine. Shri Chouhan said that the infected person should not contact other people. The Chief Minister said that the general public need not worry. This crisis will end soon. The State Government has made complete arrangements for check ups, treatment and isolation.

Online services became source of relief

Shri Chouhan has said that online services are being used as the lock-down arrangements should not affect the lives of the people due to the problem of Corona. These services have become a strong source of big relief. The Chief Minister has informed that a sum of Rs. 430 crore towards various scholarships have already been transferred to the bank accounts of about 52 lakh students. Under the Mid-Day Meal scheme, the Food Security allowance of Rs. 117 crore has been transferred to the bank accounts of 66 lakh 27 thousand students. Similarly an amount of Rs. 2 thousand has been given to each cook under the Mid-Day Meal scheme. The date for depositing amount of professional tax, property tax, Kisan Credit Card etc. has been extended to April 30. Financial assistance amount of over Rs. 88 crore has already been transferred to the bank accounts of registered construction labourers of Madhya Pradesh Bhavan evam Sannirman Karmkaar Mandal.

Do not cross line as told by the Prime Minister

In context to the Corona problem, the Chief Minister Shri Chouhan has advised the people especially in cities to follow the total lock down, not to leave their homes and give their full time to their families. Shri Chouhan while citing an example of Indore said that the problem may be bigger but our courage is even bigger. Precautions are also very important. The Chief Minister said that do not cross the lines as stated by the Prime Minister. Certainly, we will succeed in our efforts and come out victorious.
