Recruitment
of Enrolled Followers (Cook, Water Carrier,
Washer man, Sweeper and Barber) in Border
Security Force for the bonafide domiciles of
Rajasthan (Except 6 districts i.e. Banswara,
Dungarpur, Jallore, Sirohi, Pali and Barmer) and Madhya
Pradesh States will be held at the following
centres against the vacancies as mentioned below on
the dates noted against each at 0900 hrs. The
willing/eligible male (MALE) candidates should
report the recruitment centre alongwith the
application form as per proforma given at Annexure-I
of this advertisement duly filled in. No application
will be entertained in this Office/no action will be
taken on such applications directly submitted to
this Office :-

The
above vacancies may vary/alter on administrative
ground.
2.
The MALE (MALE) Indian citizen of Rajasthan and
Madhya Pradesh States who are eligible and willing
to join BSF should report at respective place of
recruitment alongwith Certificates/Testimonials in
original as well as one Photostat copy of each
Domicile/State Certificate, SC/ST/OBC caste
certificate issued by the authorized State authority
and three copies of latest passport size
photographs. Only those candidates will be
considered who have already registered their names
with Employment Exchange and bring the relevant
documents with the application form.

The candidate would mention/intimate if any Criminal
Case pending/lodged against him in any Police
Station/Hon'ble Court while appearing for the test.
4.
Pay Scale : Rs. 2550-55-2660-60-3200 with
usual allowances as admissible from time to time. In
addition Ration allowances, Medical assistance, Free
Uniform, free accommodation, free leave pass etc.
are admissible to BSF. Posts are temporary but
likely to be made permanent. The appointment carries
Service liability any where in India or abroad.
5.
The candidates selected will be governed by the NEW
CONTRIBUTORY PENSION SCHEME, which implemented w.e.f.
01.01.2004 for Central Govt. Employees joining on or
after 01.01.2004.
6.
10% vacancies are reserved for Ex-Servicemen in
accordance with instructions issued by Central Govt.
from time to time, which may later on be filled up
by fresh candidates if suitable Ex-Servicemen do not
turn up.
7.
The children and dependent family members of those
who were killed in riots of 1984 and 2002 riots in
Gujarat would be eligible to apply for the post.
They should produce a certificate to that effect
from the concerned District Collectors, however, to
avail of the present relaxation he has to produce
the certificate from the District wherein the victim
was killed. Five year of age relaxation may be
granted to the children and dependent family members
of those killed in the riots this will be in
addition of relaxation provided for SC/ST/OBC.
8. Eligibility
conditions :-

by 5 years OBC 3 years in upper age limit.
For
Ex-Servicemen present age of the candidate
minus Army Service minus 3 years should not

Qualification |
Candidates
should be very well versed/ already trained
in their respective Trade.Persons being
enrolled as Cook etc. should be able to
perform their duty from the very day of the
appointment. |
9.
Following Tests will be conducted :-
(a)
Physical Measurement
(b)
Checking of documents
(c)
Physical Efficiency Test i.e. one mile (1.6 Kms)
race within 10 minutes.
(d)
Interview : General awareness and mental alertness
will be tested.
(e)
Candidates qualifying other tests will be put
through respective trade test.
(f)
Medical examination.
10.
Trade Tests - Candidates will be put through
the following trade test :-

for 100 men, Cooking of Meat/Fish/Egg/Kheer
etc.

11.
Final Medical Exam : Candidates who qualify
in all above tests will be put through final medical
examination and those who qualify in final medical
exam will be considered for selection on merit
basis.
12.
Candidates would come prepared to stay for about 3/4
days at the place of recruitment at their own
expenses for which No (No) TA/DA is admissible to
them. BSF/Govt. will not be responsible for any
injury sustained during Tests/Interview.
