Phakkad,
Bantu, Chhote and Syamuwati will no longer have to
suffer humiliation since they will now come out clean
from the blot of being criminals and will get rid of
self-condemnation. Their lives will witness a new
dawn. Not only these persons, but also 750 families of
Rewa district are looking forward to hopeful future
and see a new ray of confidence. These families used
to till forest land for a living since they did not
have any other source of income. It was a crime in the
eyes of law and the sword of eviction always dangled
over their heads. Such apprehensions and fears were
impeding their progress and prosperity. But now the
government has given respectability and honour to them
by giving them land right certificates under Forest
Rights Act.
Happiness
and satisfaction writ large on the faces of Phakkad,
Bantu, Syamwati and 37 others when Minister of State
for Forest Shri Rajendra Shukla gave away land right
certificates to them. They said that from now onwards
they will not be afraid of anyone and sow maximum
crops on their lands to ensure their family's
prosperity.
While
congratulating these forest dwellers, the Minister of
State wished for their prosperous life.
