Courage, self confidence helped Ashok Kumar to become successful businessman

Getting a job is like scaling the Everest to youngsters of this age. Ashok Kumar, resident of Ugali Village of Tehsil Kevlari of Seoni district faced same problem in getting a job. Ashok Kumar’s parents had died when he was at a tender age. His uncle brought him up. After education he tried for some time to get a job.

When Ashok Kumar was trying to get a job, his uncle advised him to start a business. Arranging capital to start a business was a difficult task. His well wishers advised him to contact the District Antyavasayi Samiti, Seoni. Ashok Kumar explained his plan to start a business of footwear to the Antyavasayi Samiti.

After talking with Ashok Kumar the Executive Officer of the Samiti advised him to avail loan facility. Ashok Kumar, who was from the Scheduled Caste community, was given a loan of Rs one lakh to start his own business. He was also given subsidy amount later. Now he is doing a successful business in Ugali Village.

Now Ashok Kumar is paying installment of the loan amount regularly. Doing his business successfully, he has repaid a major portion of his loan. Ashok Kumar plans to expand his business after full repayment of the loan and, if need be, will get another loan from the bank.

Ashok Kumar is a role model to those who want to start own business. According to him, courage and self confidence helped him a lot in his success.
