Success Story

Rahul no more requires service

Bhopal : Friday, May 16, 2008 Updated 17:35 IST

Can you imagine anyone becoming self-reliant despite having no money and without taking the help of moneylenders. This may sound impossible but Pradhan Mantri Rozgar Yojana has made this possible. Rahul Jain of Panna harboured the dream of standing on his own feet somehow and District Industry Centre has realised his dream by helping him start a readymade garments shop of his own under Pradhan Mantri Rozgar Yojana.

Shri Rahul Jain, a resident of world famous diamond city Panna, was gripped by the worry for his future soon after completing his education. But instead of wandering from one office to another in search of employment, he wanted to seek career in business. At last, Pradhan Mantri Rozgar Yojana proved helpful for Rahul in fulfilling his dream. Under this scheme, he started his own readymade garments shop named "G-Nine" which completely transformed his life. Under the scheme, he was provided loan to the tune of Rs one lakh which included subsidy worth Rs seven thousand five hundred.

Rahul's father was a government servant and due to his limited income he used to be worried over the marriage of his daughter. But only a year after start of Rahul's shop, marriage of his sister was solemnised with great pomp and show. Not only Rahul has repaid the bank loan but has also renovated his old house and purchased a motorcycle and other necessary household articles. Now he is helping his younger brother in getting coaching for P.A.T.

Rahul has also employed a person at his shop. He has become a well-known trader of readymade clothes.
