The Four Months

The last Four Months were very hectic and a lot of things happened in the interest of the state and to some extent in the interest of the country too. And, therefore, we are giving below some points about what happened during this period.

Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan’s tour of three Western European Countries – Germany, The Netherlands and Italy is proving success in industrial development of the state. His tour of Srilanka strengthened the cultural relations of both countries. After the decision of a Bhopal court, the Bhopal Gas Tragedy is again in news. At the same time purchasing of wheat on support price has broken all records. 15th census has started. Here is some important news released by the directorate of public relations during the last FOUR MONTHS:

  • Because if the unbearable heat in summer season, the ban on using air conditioner was withdrawn.

  • For effective implementation of the “School Chalen Hum” campaign districts were allotted to IAS officers.

  • MLAs shall be able to give amount up to Rs 5 lakhs.

  • Every year IT Day will be observed.

  • Micro Plan to be prepared for irrigation and help source of living in villages with water scarcity.

  • Rs 200 crore sanctioned from state plan for construction of all-weather roads in rural areas.

  • Central Government sanctions Rs 200 crore for Simhapur Barrage Project in Sagar division.

  • Record expenditure of Rs 109 crore on construction of Narmada Valley Development projects.

  • Credit Society will be constituted for Samvida Shikshaks, Adhyapaks.

  • Cell constituted for solving drinking water problems.
